Selini is named after the Greek Goddess of the Moon, Selene. Selene drove the moon across the sky each night in a chariot. While her husband’s team of horses usually consisted of four animals, Selene’s chariot, like her light, was less powerful. Two winged steeds pulled her across the sky each night.

This ground floor apartment offers a living room and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, double bed and sofa bed, safe box, air-conditioning and bathroom with walk-in shower and bath.

The apartment is Wi-Fi connected with a satellite TV. Selini is self-catering and a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh fruit from the owners awaits upon arrival.
Breakfasts can be arranged and are payable locally to Jay & Meike who are also happy to offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

    Within Walking Distance

Rhodes is one of the largest and best preserved medieval towns in Europe.
The site is so pristine, no matter where you are, you always feel like you have stepped back in time.

    Step straight into History

Being right in the midst of UNESCO World Heritage Site Rhodes Old Town, a lot of interesting activities and attractions are well within walking distance.
We have selected a few highlights for you:

    Street of the Knights

This street is in the centre of the old town and is one of the most beautiful parts of the town. Walking on the old cobbles and stones make it easy to imagine that you could have gone back in time hundreds of years.
    — 7 minute walk

    Elli Beach

Elli is the main beach in Rhodes town and one of the most popular beaches on the entire island. The shingle and pebbly beach is about 400 metres long and 35 metres wide, running from Mandraki harbour to Rhodes Aquarium. The water is crystal clear and usually calm.
    — 15 minute walk

Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes

The Palace is a ‘must see’ in Rhodes. This beautifully restored building has wonderful mosaic floors that have been brought in from the various churches. Many of the rooms are furnished with original 15th century furniture.
    — 6 minute walk

    Mandraki Harbour

According to the legend, it was here where the famous Colossus of Rhodes – a bronze statue of the Greek sun-god Helios, made of bronze and reaching 34 meters high – was raised. The harbor with its millionaires’ yachts, moored alongside quaint, old fishing boats is an unspoilt place, lined by seaside Cafes.
    — 10 minute walk

    Experience the Medieval Town

Surrounded by medieval walls, this old part of Rhodes is the location of many interesting attractions of historical significance. We are happy to arrange a guided tour to experience the town to it’s fullest.
    — 0 minute walk

    Archaeological Museum of Rhodes

The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes is housed in the medieval Hospital of the Knights Hospitaller Order of Saint John (1309-1522). The museum hosts many interesting side galleries off the inner courtyard housing archaeological exhibits found on Rhodes.
